Quiz Settings

Passing Percentage

70-75% is a recommended minimum for most learning. You might choose a higher rate for particular compliance training, such as workplace safety-related material

Time Limit

1 minute per question is a good maximum benchmark. If not completed within the time, the test is considered failed. If a user navigates away from the tests window for more than 10s, the test automatically fails to reduce cheating

Number of Questions to Ask

We recommend creating MORE questions that are asked. This allows the ANANAS to pull different questions from the pool on each attempt

Block Re-Take Test

This feature allows you to prevent users from immediately retaking tests after failing. Adding a short block (12-24 hours) prevents brute force passing and can help aid knowledge retention. The default setting is ZERO, meaning users can retake after failing immediately

Adding Questions

'Score' allows you to weigh some questions more heavily than others. The default score for each question is ONE, though this can be changed

Select a Question Type to create your first Question

True or False

Add a statement and check the box to indicate if it is true, or false

Fill in the blank

Create a statement and use an ellipsis (...) to indicate the missing word

Add in common spelling or other variations, separated by commas in the answer selection

Multiple Choice

Create your question or statement and add your answer options. Select the correct answer from the dropdown

Recipe

Recipes can be time-consuming for users to answer; we recommend using these sparingly. To use recipes, you must first have created a recipe library.

Images

You can upload images as a reference or for users to identify dishes, garnishes etc...

Create as many questions as you feel is required; we suggest at least 10 for most courses. Don't forget to save your quiz!
