Tips and templates to on-board your team in a flash

Updated over a week ago

Regardless of your venue style, fine dining, casual, nightclub, sports bar, there are key basic trainings, that all businesses should teach, but but are very specific to your venue, or group.

Where Ananas Training provides detailed but transferable Industry knowledge, Internal Training should cover specifics about your business, venue, service and the way YOU do things in your bar or restaurant.

Chances are, you already are on-boarding your staff in some way, shape or form. You may have a senior staff member walk a newbie through the venue, show them the table numbers, fire exits, discuss your house cocktail recipes, demonstrate the order of service for seated guests. Whilst we do advocate face to face training in venue, this alone rarely provides managers with any method of tracking that staff understand or have even been shown correctly the skills needed in your operation.

This is why the most successful Ananas users have their company staff manuals uploaded to the platform and start on-boarding staff before they even arrive in venue.

"I don't have time to do MORE TRAINING!!"

All too often we see a catch 22 of managers not having time to create their digital induction solution, as they are too busy training and managing new staff face to face.

Using Ananas to on-board DRASTICALLY increases the speed and quality of on-boarding new staff and ensures existing staff stay up to date - Spending a little time setting your internal training up, will quickly turn in to saved time, freeing up managers to focus on other areas of developing the business.
Spend a little time, to save a lot of time!

"What sort of training should we have??"

To help you get started, Ananas provides templated trainings for some of the most common areas new staff should be inducted on.
